Bespoke Tables & Benches
Every Table Guy table and bench is handmade to order in our UK workshop. Because each piece is custom-built, lead times vary depending on several important factors:

Size of the item (for example, a 3.8m dining table with multiple benches requires significantly more production time than a 1.2m table)

Design complexity and bespoke modifications

Frame colour and tabletop finish

Delivery location within the UK

Seasonal demand and our current order schedule

Transport planning and regional delivery routes
Standard Lead Time
Our typical lead time for bespoke tables and benches is 4–8 weeks.
This is an estimated timeframe and may vary depending on the size of your project and our workshop schedule. Larger or more complex commissions may take longer, particularly during busy periods.
When Lead Times Begin
Lead times begin once all specifications are fully confirmed, including:

Frame colour
-
Tabletop stain or finish
-
Any agreed modifications
Lead times are calculated in working days only (excluding weekends, bank holidays and our Christmas closure).
Delivery & Logistics
We carefully coordinate deliveries to ensure your handmade furniture arrives safely and in perfect condition. Deliveries are planned by region for efficiency and care, so specific dates cannot be guaranteed until production is nearing completion.
Delivery dates are estimates and are not legally binding unless confirmed in writing.

LEAD TIMES
Fully Bespoke Projects
Projects requiring additional design development, specialist sourcing or research will have extended lead times. A more tailored estimate will be provided once specifications are agreed.
Important Note
While we always aim to meet estimated timeframes, we are not liable for financial loss arising from delays or rescheduled deliveries.
Off-the-Shelf Tables
Our off-the-shelf tables are often partially completed items. Some colour adjustments may be possible. Please refer to the individual product listing for specific details and lead times.
Ex-Display / Pre-Made Tables
Occasionally we produce tables for photography or showroom display. These pieces are dismantled and stored carefully.
Before dispatch, they return to our workshop for inspection and quality control to ensure they meet our standards. Lead times are stated on the individual listing.
Trusted Supplier Products (Chairs etc.)
Lead times for items supplied by our trusted partners are stated on each individual listing. If unsure, please contact us before ordering.
Seating (In Stock)
If seating is confirmed as in stock, dispatch is typically 3–5 working days. Please check availability before ordering.
