Step 2 – Choosing the Right Table Shape
Once you’ve determined how many people your table needs to seat comfortably, the next consideration is the table shape. The shape affects not only the aesthetics of your room but also traffic flow and how people interact during meals.
Rectangular Tables
Rectangular tables are the most versatile and popular option, ideal for both everyday family meals and larger gatherings. They work well in narrow or long rooms, and The Table Guy can customise the length to perfectly suit your space and seating needs.
Square Tables
Square tables are perfect for smaller rooms or for creating a more intimate dining experience. They work best when seating 4–6 people, allowing everyone to interact easily.
Round Tables
Round tables encourage conversation and are ideal for rooms where you want smooth movement around the table. They’re great for families or social gatherings where everyone should feel included. For larger groups, we can create oversized round tables that remain comfortable without feeling cramped.
Oval Tables
Oval tables combine the elegance of a round table with the versatility of a rectangular one. They offer generous seating and a softer visual impact, perfect for bespoke dining table designs.
