OSMO Clear (Using Stripped Pine Boards) - Sample
If you would like to see some samples for your table, highly recommended, please select 4 - 6 shades by adding them individually to your cart. (the process for this is explained in How to Order on our website).
The photo we have used above and throughout our website are as a guide only. Photos should not be used for choosing your table stain as they may not be a true reflection of the actual shade.
PLEASE NOTE:
Due to 'OSMO Clear' simply being a see through coat of protection rather than a stain which tints wood, it means that the final table colour is determined by the grain/character of the wood. Resulting in quite a difference at times!
We have therefore come up with the two different options (Shipped Pine & Vintage Pine). The only difference is the the lighter option is using lighter boards and the second is of course using darker boards.
On lighter shades, (the Greys and White) you have the additional option of having one coat of the coloured stain or two ‘i.e Patina Grey 1 or Patina Grey 2. The number refers to the number of coloured stains the wood has received. One coat gives a very light wash.
Please consider that due to the boards being reclaimed, they all have varying shades to start with. Using a darker stain or two coats of the lighter stains will equal the appearance up across the table.
SAMPLE DELIVERY:
We endeavour to send the samples out via Hermes in batches twice a week, generally Tuesday and Friday but in the height of the season this may vary.
Once collected, Hermes will send an email notification to you, once the box is on its way. From this point, you can track the samples, so that you do not miss them. If you have any special request to Hermes where they can be delivered (i.e inside porch, by green bin, neighbour etc) please do state when ordering and we will pass the information on.
Hermes state that the parcel should arrive within 3-5 days, please log in to MyHermes to track progress.
When the samples do arrive, please do keep them safe until we deliver your table and then hand back to our delivery driver. This helps us no end and speeds up the process of sending out future samples and more importantly, reduces waste.
When you have made your decision, please email maja@thetableguy.co.uk your choice of stain.
We will require 10 working days from your decision (starting from the next working day) to the date of delivery. This will greatly depend on our schedule of course and is a guide only.
If the samples are ordered with a table, delivery is free, but should you wish to order the samples separately then there is a nominal delivery charge of £15.00
(+ VAT) to cover postage, packaging and materials.
