Rustic Metal Corner Bench

Rustic metal corner bench handmade in the UK by The Table Guy, combining a powder-coated steel frame with reclaimed scaffold boards. Built for patios and gardens—and equally at home indoors—it’s available in standard configurations and can be made to your exact size. Choose your timber stain and your preferred RAL frame colour to match your space.

Listed sizes include 1.4 m, 1.6 m, 1.8m and 2.0 m; we can also make almost any custom size on request so the footprint fits perfectly around your table and layout. Seat width is approximately 445 mm with a matching 445 mm backrest, and an overall height around 460 mm for comfortable dining. For extra comfort, we offer year-round outdoor cushions made bespoke to your exact dimensions.

The two benches are delivered assembled in two pieces for easy positioning on site—no flat-pack stress. We’ll confirm access details and placement before delivery so installation is smooth.

Each reclaimed scaffold board has its own unique history therefore the wood stains may vary slightly, more so on the lighter stains.

1. Sizing:

Consider if you'd like the bench to match one of our Square Patio Tables, in which case, consider how many people you'd like to seat and therefore which size would work best for you.

2. Seating:

If you require additional seating, consider whether you would like to have Chairs, Benches or a mixture of both. Benches are generally space savers. Our Square Patio Tables, include standard bench set options.

3. Colours:

4. Legs:

This bench is delivered in two parts.

When you 'View Cart' you can add any other requests in the 'Add a Note' field.
Table/Bench Top Stains:

Constructed from sections of used scaffold boards.

The boards benefit from repeated sanding that are then stained with an Osmo Natural Oil woodstain for exterior wood (with a colour of your choice) an all-in-one protective oil and preserver.

We always advise that you see a selection of samples, before choosing your stain colour. Please see the design page for more information.

Always hard to see correctly in photos due to light variations. As the table tops are reclaimed boards, no two boards are the same, so will take the stain slightly differently. We do endeavour to get as close as match as possible on all our samples, but there may be a slight differences.

Bench Frame:

This very sturdy frame is formed from welded steel that is then powder-coated Black by standard.

By default, our metal work comes in a Matte finish. Satin or Gloss finishes are available upon request.

Each leg has an adjustable foot to keep the benches off any wet surface and to protect your flooring.

As with all wooden outdoor furniture, your table (and benches) will require some aftercare. This will of course depend on where your table is kept e.g south facing conservatories.

The tabletop finish is hardy and does not require much care, however we do recommned a suitable furniture wax (not spray) from time to time - available in store.

If your table is delivered during the winter months, we strongly advise not to place it near a heat source or in a hot room for a few weeks so that the table can slowly settle to it's new environment,
