Our Rustic Refectory Prosecco Banqueting Dining Table pairs chunky reclaimed scaffold board tops with a traditional wooden refectory base, creating a striking extra long dining table designed for entertaining, banqueting and large gatherings.
 
Available in lengths from 3.0m to 3.8m, this design is ideal for large family dining, entertaining guests or creating a dramatic banqueting table centrepiece.
 
Matching benches can be produced to complement the table and we also offer a range of dining chairs to complete your seating layout.
 
This design also features our well known Prosecco Table concept, which we have been producing since 2014. Often copied but never better, it has become a true feature table for homes, businesses and hospitality venues.
 
Extra Long Banqueting Tables
 
For larger dining spaces, multiple tables can be positioned together to create extra long banqueting tables of 6 metres, 8 metres, 10 metres or more.
 
When two or more tables are placed together we increase the tabletop overhang, allowing comfortable seating where the tables meet so diners can sit naturally along the full length.
 
Integrated Prosecco Ice Buckets
 
This table includes plastic Prosecco ice buckets designed for entertaining.
 
Bucket dimensions are approximately:
Length – 560mm
Width – 260mm
Depth – 240mm
 
Each bucket includes a central drainage tap that allows the majority of melted ice to be released without removing the bucket.
 
For full removal and cleaning, two thumb screws release the supporting wooden arms beneath the table, allowing the bucket to be lifted out completely.
 
Refectory Frame Design
 
This table uses a traditional refectory style frame, a classic design that works particularly well for extra long dining tables.
 
The long central stretcher bar adds strength and rigidity to the frame, making it ideal for large banqueting tables.
 
Because this table has a full wooden frame and apron, the clearance from the floor to the underside of the apron is less than on our metal frame tables. This is particularly important when choosing dining chairs with arms.
 
The measurement from the floor to the underside of the apron is approximately 630mm +/- 4mm.
 
As every table is made bespoke, we can of course increase the overall height where required to better suit your seating or see our dining chair options.
 
If occasional seating at the ends of the table is required, the tabletop overhang can be increased or extensions can be added to improve comfort.
 
Bespoke Options
 
Every Table Guy table is built to order, allowing the design to be tailored to your space.
The refectory frame is typically constructed using reclaimed timber and reclaimed (heavily sanded) fence posts where possible, giving the base the same rustic character as the tabletop.
 
A chunky 88mm spindle leg option is also available for this table (not reclaimed).

The frame is painted in a Farrow & Ball colour of your choice, giving you a wide range of finishes to match your home or interior design scheme.
 
The tabletop is finished using our usual reclaimed scaffold boards, available in a wide range of Osmo wood stains.
 
All our tables are backed by our 5 year structural warranty.
 
Materials
 
Each table is constructed using reclaimed scaffold boards, selected for strength and character. Natural variations in grain, marks and colour are part of the timber’s charm and ensure every table is unique.
 
Where possible the refectory frame is also produced using reclaimed timber, helping to maintain the authentic rustic character that defines The Table Guy tables.
 
Every banqueting dining table and extra long rustic dining table we produce is handmade in the UK.

Footnote
 
Plastic ice buckets will naturally produce condensation when filled with ice, as would any ice bucket.
 
The drainage tap allows the majority of melted ice to be removed easily, but buckets can also be fully removed for cleaning when required.
