Handmade in the UK by The Table Guy, this Scaffold Board Coffee Table can be in a variety of widths and lengths.

The unique Prosecco Coffee Table also contains one cavity trough. The trough has its own wooden lid so it can be used as a cool box, ice box, storage box, a mixture or even an indoor herb garden, all depends on the occasion.

On first sight the table looks like any other farm house coffee table however when you remove one sections of scaffold board (lid), a cavity trough is revealed! This not only gives your table a great everyday versatility but also a talking point on every occasion.

When filled with ice, the cavity trough becomes a central ice bucket which comfortably houses numerous Prosecco, wine and beer bottles or drinks of you and your guests favourite tipple, complemented by beer bottle openers attached to each table leg (optional - shop here).

Alternatively, you may want to use your trough for a variety of potted growing mixed herbs or flowers, serving not just as an attractive centrepiece yet also for guests to add to dishes as required.

When the trough covers are replaced, the cavity becomes a storage area for those items that every table seems to collect.

As your Table is totally bespoke, you have many factors to consider before ordering.

This will of course include;

The exact length, by default we have increments of 100mm, but you can have any length.

The width, largely this is governed by the boards but there are options.

Our standard table measuments are:

Height of Table: 44cm (to the top edge) & 31cm (to the side apron). Please ask if you require a bespoke height.

Table Top Stains:

Constructed from sections of used scaffold boards, the boards benefit from repeated sanding that are then stained with Manns environmentally friendly, high quality, water-based wood stain for interior wood (with a colour of your choice ) which is then protected with Fiddes Hard wax oil, a premium hard wax oil for interior wood surfaces made from a blend of natural oil and waxes. OR for grey tones we use Osmo Natural Oil woodstain an all-in-one protective oil and preserver.

Always hard to see correctly in photos due to light variations. As the tabletops are reclaimed boards, no two boards are the same, so will take the stain slightly differently. We do endeavour to get as close as match as possible on all our samples, but there may be a slight differences.

Table Frame:

The frame of this table is constructed with 75mm chunky square legs and builder’s off-cuts / extra's (where possible) for the frame.

The rustic sturdy frame is sanded then applied with two coats of Farrow and Ball paint with a colour of your choice. If you would like your frame painted in a different brand please do enquire beforehand.

Scaffold Board Shelving
As with all wooden indoor furniture, your table (and benches) will require some aftercare. This will of course depend on where your table is kept e.g south facing conservatories.

The tabletop finish is hardy and does not require much care, however we do recommned a suitable furniture wax (not spray) from time to time - available in store.

If your table is delivered during the winter months, we strongly advise not to place it near a heat source or in a hot room for a few weeks so that the table can slowly settle to it's new environment,
